چکیده

A fault detection and diagnostics (FDD) tool, as addressed by this study, is a tool that continuously identifies the presence of faults efficiency improvement opportunities through one-way interface to building automation system application automated analytics. Although FDD tools can inform operators operational faults, currently an action always required correct generate energy savings. Fault auto-correction integrating with commercial technology offerings close loop between passive active control, increase savings generated tools, reduce reliance on human intervention. This paper presents field study seven algorithms implemented in platforms. Implementation includes software changes additional controls hardware or BAS were enable execution different types real buildings. The routines successfully automatically improve operation large built-up Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, common most are tested across four buildings three following rigorous procedure make sure they work properly do not negatively impact occupants. Technology benefits, market drivers, scalability drawn from implementation effort test results, drive future research industry engagement.

An approach to fault detection and correction in design of systems using of Turbo ‎codes‎

We present an approach to design of fault tolerant computing systems. In this paper, a technique is employed that enable the combination of several codes, in order to obtain flexibility in the design of error correcting codes. Code combining techniques are very effective, which one of these codes are turbo codes. The Algorithm-based fault tolerance techniques that to detect errors rely on the c...

Fault Strike Detection Using Satellite Gravity Data Decomposition by Discrete Wavelets: A Case Study from Iran

Estimating the gravity anomaly causative bodies boundary can facilitate the gravity field interpretation. In this paper, 2D discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is employed as a method to delineate the boundary of the gravity anomaly sources. Hence, the GRACE’ satellite gravity data is decomposed using DWT. DWT decomposites a single approximation coefficients into four distinct components: the appr...

Abstract Fault Tolerance: A Model-Theoretic Approach to Fault Tolerance and Fault Compensation without Error Correction

This paper explores the concept of “pure fault tolerance”--when a system can fulfill its computational goal, even though some of its components do not fulfill theirs. This leads to a natural statement of the composition problem for a very general concept of architecture: to what extent are the properties of a system based on that architecture a function of the properties of the components? The ...

Automated Fault Tree Generation from Requirement Structures

The increasing complexity of today’s vehicles gives drivers help with everything from adaptive cruise control to warning lights for low fuel level. But the increasing functionality also increases the risk of failures in the system. To prevent system failures, different safety analytic methods can be used, e.g., fault trees and/or FMEA-tables. These methods are generally performed manually, and ...
